I tried the "Bubble.us" and I liked it allot. It is so easy to use, and students can use it for projects as well. It is a good way to simplify any subject you are working on by simply dropping down by levels or putting it in hierarchy order. The "Gliffy" has nice diagrams, but it is not free. I saw this one before when house designers were using it for their Floor Plan. Now I know where to look if I need to.

The http://www.go2web20.net/app/?a=grammarbase caught my attention first. I thought it would be good to have for my class when they are learning to spell the vocabularies. I installed the Google chrome and pasted my work. It checked for Plagiarism, Contextual Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation, Style and Word Choice. On results I had 1 issue on grammar and 2 issues on punctuation, my score was 57 of 100 which is showed “week”. When I wanted to look my issues it did not let me. The site has 7- day free trial but I did not sing up so I do not know the cost of the site. I can say that I liked the idea of grammarly.com but like I said it is not free.

thing #13
I created this quiz for 3rd grade math. I used Zoho Writer and found that it is not easy. It took me a very long time to save and copy. Then I could not find where I saved it. I like the Google Docs better because it was easy to find things which saved me time.
1. Linda has $0.88. Her sister has $0.41. How much money do they have altogether?
- $0.49
- $1.27
- $1.29
- $1.97
2. Octavio had $ 3.50. He bought an apple for $0.75. How much money did he have left?
- $4.25
- $2.75
- $2.25
- $2.15
3. How much of the rectangle is shaded?
- 0.37
- 0.73
- 0.7
- 0.710

I was using Google calender for a long time now, with children of three there is so much going on like after school programs, once a month programs e.t.c. I have programmed the dates on my Google calendar and it gives me reminder day before the events. Google translate I like it because English is second language for me and there are words that I don't know and when I need to translate it in my iPhone. Google translation might be useful in class if there is student does not speak English and if some words must be translated. Google Alert helps people to keep their family safe if bad weather is coming. It will defiantly be good to have in class computers to avoid any surprises from weather.

On thing #10 I did not see much that is"exciting" and thing #11 does not give you a choice I am trying to stay positive with all these "things" but I don't see much difference. For example it says go to Google Blog Search and search for " school library learning 2.0" it took me to "California School Library Association". Then I searched straight from Google and it took me to the same page. I don't see the needs of the RSS Bloglines account.
thing #10
I read about RSS and seams everyone is exited using it. For today I did not see the necessaries of using the RSS in the classroom. But I do not want to miss any new ideas that might keep the students learn in a new way, so I will try to learn to use in the future.
