Is It the End or Only the Beginning?
My favorite discoveries and exercises on this learning journey was that I made my own Blogger and Workspace. I found out that so many people use the Blogger and spend allot of time to upgrade the news on everyday events. Even though I was using many things from Google, like Google translation, Maps, definitions, weather, and the calendar, there are still things I saw for the first time. Some of them are worth spending the time to learn, but some things did not make any sense to me. I am not a teacher yet and right now I have only ideas about how and what I will use. But when I will become a teacher I might use more things from what I earn in this program. I am taking an Instructional Technology class along with Instructional Strategies class and basically some of the same things must be done like learning how to make a unit plan, class lesson, grading sheet or collecting information in a binder. One Thing I learned and (I am glad to learn) was the copyrights. I don’t want to have any trouble of using somebodies’ property and now I know how to ask permission. As a teacher I think it is important to know and teach the students to not do the same mistakes of others and to respect the information providers.
Thing #23
The Learning 2.0- 23 Things blog was designed by Helene Blowers. She got the idea from Stephen Abram's article. Stephen Abram created the 43 Things for anybody who is using the internet. It helps users to organized the plans and to sort out their future goals. Helene Blowers makes a short version of 43 things and she put it in use in the Public Library system. I don't know how I will use the Creative Commons Licensing for me, but I know how to not use peoples work, images, or ideas without permission from the owner.

The title of my binder is 3rd grade Math. There is my link to my binder I hope it will open.
Live Binders might be helpful after I have spend so many hours, and feel comfortable to find things, but right now it is not easy for me. It is seriously too much to do. Every one of these "things" are taking to much time to accomplish and makes me want to run away from the computer. Maybe I will use this all after I have a calm and positive mood.
Thing #21.
I like this site. It is very easy to organize the pictures by dates, years or seasons. I think I will organize my children's pictures later. It is more fun watching pictures this way than going through albums. I Also like putting pictures by order of events so it becomes a story.

I am not a member of any online communities yet. However, I created many accounts while doing "things" but did not check any of them closer (have no time). I will use the 4 teacher and classroom2.0 these two have plenty of information for me to know in the future as a teacher.
I am awaiting from classroom2.0 acceptance.

thing #18
It is important that educators know how social networking works because this 21 century is all about internet and people spending their time more and more on line. Children are using technology every day and learning so much from the internet. There are good and bad things going on around the school that the teacher must know about, at least around the city and school. I had a Facebook account before and I put pictures of my family to share with my friends and family until I found out that not only friends and family can see but so many others also. I deleted all my pictures and information from Facebook and did not use it no more. Here I am again now I have joined to the college of education. I do not think I can use Facebook in the classroom.

The Delicious site came up because there are so many different sites out there. Someone decided to shortened the searching time and it does save time. When you can put all the tagged information labeled under a certain name it makes it easy to find and very helpful. I tagged the 4teachers, lesson plans, and classroom 2.0 sites that I liked most. I think it will help me in the future. The Delicious web page helps not only teachers but anybody to stay organized.
Thing #16
For my start page I chose iGoogle. This is because I am used to Google for looking up information or mapping for travel. It is my permanent home page. The on line calendar is useful for me when I fill it up with events for that week or month so it will remind me and help me to stay organized. Also the online calendar has alerts which lets the user know if their is bad weather coming. The to-do list is helpful for me because If and when I use a piece of paper I lose it and never find it. I put my iGoogle page on my iPhone and every time when I look at it the to-do list is there that way I don't forget and stay on time with my plans. I use the Google translation almost every day. It is a very helpful tool for me. Also I use the metric converter because I watch the European news and it helps me to correlate the international standards to American standards, for example, Celsius to Fahrenheit or meters to feet.
